The photo "SAC SUCKS" was taken by an RF4 of the 11th TRSq in '68 or
'69.     Don't remember the TACAN Station, but was on Large Karst south central Laotion panhandle very close to Thai border (Saravane?). 11th bird was passing thru the area and was asked to photo the site.  Story was that an Arc Light was called in to batter the bad guys, but did more damage to the Site than to the gomers, so these guys put up the photo.  Next chopper into the site had orders from CINSAC to dismantle sign.  Cant vouch for the story, but here's the photo.

Amos Parker lived among the cedars, pinons and honey bears of southern New Mexico. Amos died in 2002.
